【摘要】:Thethermalconductivityofcarbonrefractoriesisapropertyrequiredforselectingtheirthermaltransmissioncharacteristics.Usersselectcarbonrefractoriestoprovidespecifiedconditionsofheatlossandcoldfacetemperature,withoutexceedingthetemperaturelimitationofthecarbonrefractory.Thistestmethodestablishesplacementofthermocouplesandpositioningoftestspecimensinthecalorimeter.ThisproceduremustbeusedwithTestMethodC201andrequiresalargethermalgradientandsteadystateconditions.Theresultsarebaseduponameantemperature.Thedatafromthistestmethodissuitableforspecificationacceptance,estimatingheatlossandsurfacetemperature,andthedesignofmulti-layerrefractoryconstruction.Theuseofthesedatarequiresconsiderationoftheactualapplicationenvironmentandconditions.1.1ThistestmethodsupplementsTestMethodC201,andshallbeusedinconjunctionwiththatproceduretodeterminethethermalconductivityofcarbonorcarbon-bearingrefractories.Thistestmethodisdesignedforrefractorieshavingaconductivityfactorofnotmorethan200Btuin./hft2F(28.8W/mK).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
